![]() While the player can freely establish colonial nations in Central and South America, they should refrain from colonising more than 4 provinces in Thirteen Colonies and California region. A useful shortcut to Salinan would include colonising Panama province, and from it Darien (2819), which would grant access to the Pacific Ocean. The shortest route to the desired provinces would probably lead through Brasil, then Caribbean. The colonisation will probably start from the Atlantic islands due to colonisation range. Player should take the Exploration idea group as fast as possible, followed by the Expansion as the second one. Player can also seize centres of trade (for a trade company merchant bonus) or centres of religion (although missionaries aren't really important for this achievement). In a peace deal one should take Suez and some province coastal to Mediterranean Sea, in order to make it a core. The player should conquer their way into a province bordering Mamluks and attack them, possibly with some local allies. The player should seize the Portuguese isles in order to increase their colonial reach while taking Aveiro or Ceuta would allow an easy way to create claims on the North African nations. Centre of trades are important in order to increase the trade income as a vast amounts of money are required for the charter actions. This way a player can secure important provinces in their home trade node as well as seize some territories of Portugal, allied to England at the start of the game. ![]() While most or all of the English provinces are removed from Britain during the design phase it is also advisable to attack their possessions in France.
